We're sorry that you're experiencing poor or unstable playback on your device. Hulu Plus for Android requires a stable Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G connection in order to stream videos to your device. In order to improve your experience, you can try reducing reducing the video’s quality. To do so, after starting playback, tap the Options button in the upper right corner of the screen. Select the Video Quality option. In the window that pops up, change from High to Medium, or from Medium to Low as desired. This setting is not saved, so you may need to repeat it for every video you play.
To find out if your connection is too slow for video playback, please try testing your connection speed using the Speedtest.net application. If your connection speed is below 1Mbps (about 1000 Kbps), a smooth playback experience may not be possible.
In some cases, your Internet connection is fast, but you may still experience problems with Hulu Plus. This may indicate an issue specific to your Android phone or tablet. If you're still encountering issues, please contact us. Let us know what steps you've tried, and we'll be happy to help further.
