Why Is the iPad App Different from the iPhone App?

While the two applications do have differences, they should still feel familiar to use. Both, the iPad and iPhone applications provide similar playback functionality and content availability. The main difference is the user interface and organization of video content within the app. With the larger screen from the iPad, the application shows more thumbnails and allows more space for navigation. In addition, the iPad application supports split screen playback, which allows you browse content while a video is playing in a smaller area of the screen.
