The ad-blocker screen appears if Hulu is unable to retrieve an advertisement when you are streaming a video. In some cases, this may be a transient issue with our ad servers. If you are repeatedly seeing this screen, it is likely that your network is blocking Hulu's ad traffic.*
You can test this by simply trying both of the following links: Test 1, Test 2
If you are unable to see an image on either of these links, then there is likely some sort of network firewall or software blocking Hulu's ad traffic. Please examine your firewall/software configuration to ensure this traffic is enabled.
Most ad-blockers are implemented as browser plug-ins or add-ons and you can look for them as follows:
- Firefox: Tools menu->Add-ons
- Internet Explorer: Tools menu->Manage add-ons
- Safari: Help menu->Installed Plugins
- Chrome: Wrench menu->Extensions
You can temporarily disable any add-ons/plug-ins that may be blocking our ads (ad block plus, no-script, flash block) and see if that resolves the ad-loading problem. If it does, please white-list the following domains:
- p.hulu.com
- ads.hulu.com
Many anti-virus/internet security software programs may also block ads on Hulu. You may try temporarily disabling them to see if that allows our ads to load.
* Please note that users outside of the USA may receive a message about blocking ads when trying to access Hulu.

Sorry, currently our video library can only be watched from within the United States
