Well now they go a step further, we see sex as the driving wedge between Young and his wife, (he banged the blonde doctor), and just as she "makes up" with him (awkwardly having sex with the other captain's body via the stones) they now make a clear plot point of making the earth captain a villain at the end of episode 7because he is either gonna basically rape her (it wouldn't be consensual sex if she knew it wasn't her husband), or he is gonna tell her and make her all skeeved out that he was in his body during sex... so sex being used as revenge plot tool. Writers seem to be focused on using it to sell the show Desperate Housewives style. Also for Mordy Locks, the big boob nipple shot was when the army chick came out of her quarters when Eli and the other dude were spying on her with the hover camera, she had a tight shirt on and was nipping hard core just for the male audience... No REAL boobs :)
