EVERYTHING about this show worked, I think that the only reason it did not stay on the air (apart from Fox's idiocy about the shows they cut and the shows they continue) is that not enough people knew about it.
I don't remember seeing a single commercial for it, I found the episode "Borderline " by accident when I was flipping channels one day. I started in in the middle of it and watched until the end thinking that it seemed like a great show. But after it ended, I didn't even find out what show I had been watching. Then, about half a year later, if I remember correctly, I caught an episode on the air after House, and finally found out what this great show was called, after I knew it was a Fox show, I went to their website, and as soon as past episodes were up, I started watching past episodes that I'd missed. Unfortunately the show was canceled only a handful of episodes later. I'm glad to see that a handful of Fox's more recent shows are able to hold a candle to what I liked about this one. That said, I liked the premise and the way the show played out much better than anything on currently.
