Surprised it wasn't picked up for another season
This show is pretty funny, thanks largely to the great supporting cast. Pamela Anderson is acceptable, but her role is none too challenging. It's Marissa Jaret Winokur who really steals every scene she's in. Sometimes the script gets a little trite, but all in all a good watch.

AWEFUL
Obnoxious audience laughter ceases for at best 30 seconds. Through most of the show, you can't get past about 5 or 10 seconds between the annoying laughs (even when there's nothing funny)! Tries too hard to be witty. Maybe for some, but I couldn't get past the 1st commercial break before I had to stop watching (and that was a task).

very funny show
If you can somehow get past Pam and her slightly obscene outfits, this show is actually quite funny. Lots of awkward situations that we find ourselves in, and the characters don't always handle them with the appropriate tact. Some of the best one-liners delivered with precise timing. I haven't laughed out loud at show this much in years. I'm sorry I missed this show when it was on tv.

Would have liked to see it stick around a bit longer
As is the case with many shows, the plug was pulled just as things were starting to look good. I would have loved to see the relationship between Skylar and Gavin continue to grow and eventually lead to them getting together. The jokes were always there, but towards the end the storylines finally started making you care about the characters. Pam's acting gradually improves as the series progresses and Elon Gold is a marvel to watch. The rest of the cast rounds things out nicely. Good show, cut down at it's peak.
