Spider-Man

overall a very entertaining show. characters were portrayed according to their age, which was refreshing. the action scenes were well done -- spider-man actually moves like a spider. it's a shame that there aren't more episodes to watch.

It's BS that this show was cancelled so soon. We need a Spider-man show that isn't for kids so they don't have to tame down the villains any. I would love to see a brutal episode featuring Carnage. Anyone who's a fan of the comic knows how dark the series actually becomes and a show like this is what the comic world needs. But of course it took the same path as HBO's Todd McFarlane's Spawn and ended on a serious cliffhanger leaving a lot of disappointed followers. When you think about it, being an actual Super Hero could bring some ugly stuff into your life, and shows like this portray that fact perfectly. The world ain't pretty and neither are bad guys. I hope they start giving comic story-lines the respect they deserve and stop tuning it down just for kids, us teenagers and adults could use some could old fashioned super hero violence dammit!

Over all this was really just OK for me. The dialog and voice acting was vary good for a animated TV show. At first I thought it was kinda strange that Neil Patrick Harris was voice cast as Peter when he plays up being more of a Harry.. But he does a good job voicing Peter, and whoever voiced Osborn also sold his part nicely. The scripting was acceptable. you basically just need to suspend your disbelief just enough not worry about the size of plot holes.. And don't worry, you will only watch this once anyway. but I think the animation was really the most difficult thing to stomach most of the time. It never looked much better then something right out the second life. I guess they where on a time constrained or something to rush it out.. but it shows how little was done to make it look reasonable. On top of that.. they teetotaler on that uncanny valley issue just way too offend to ever let you think of the characters as anything more the 3d puppets being pulled around on kinematic script chains by some heavy handed first year animation student.

I saw most if not all the previous incarnations. This one is not perfect but probably the best, or is most of that just hep modernization? I don't think so. A couple of things surprised me, even now, and that doesn't happen easily. The animation style is a nice change as well as all the guest voices you know from the 90's and up. Spidey talk-back, oh yeah, very much unlike the mnovie where he couldn't verbally dazzle his way out of a paper bag. Of course ending on a cliff-hanger seems to be about the billioneth crime against humanity that mtv has created in its short history on our planet. Also, dear hulu, please don't put ads right before the preview to the next episode which is right before the credits roll.Viewers, if you sense the end is near, click next or close or find something else to watch!

I loved this show. I wish I had known it was on when it was being aired. I never even saw an ad for this show :(I think Neil Patrick Harris did a great job with the voice-over. I really enjoyed this series and wish there were more episodes...
