Bringing back fond memories

One of the early Anime brought over to the US, this one became a cult classic . I'd watch it daily after coming home from school. It didn't matter that I had already seen each & every episode multiple times, it was always a fun anime and took your cares away for at least 30 mins. Nice of Hulu to help bring this to a younger audience.

Go Speed Go!!!!!

Thanks HuLu for bringing back one my childhood heroes. When I watch the episodes, I can remember when my best friend would talk about when we grow up and have our own Mach 5. Thanks again!!!!!

did underdog7 just say speed racer was "extremely unrealistic"? it's a freakin cartoon!! it's not supposed to be realistic george, if it were people would be driving Mach 5's on the interstate.

crappy

Speed racer was the most terrible cartoon I’ve ever seen, even for being really old. The earliest silent, black and white movies were better than this. They used the same short clips over and over and thought we wouldn’t be able to tell. They didn’t move naturally and there mouths did more moving than the rest of their bodies. It was like anime and that Japanese anime is already terrible. It was extremely unrealistic. I watched the race for revenge one and the guy controlled a full body car with a remote that had like four controls on it and it was the size of a remote for a toy remote control car; he was in a helicopter and he didn’t even fly the helicopter, he just sat and controlled the car. He talked to himself like he new there was a camera there. Of course the bad guy talked really low and gruff and the girls talked abnormally high. The fight scene was just more than I could take so I turned it of before I could taint my eyes anymore with this primitive crap. This isn’t even worthy of a rating but I’m putting one just for the fun of it.
