I love Kirk Douglas...always did. I dont know why I waited so long to see this movie...geez, if one can sit thru hours of Titanic! Yes, I echo the refrain asking why cant we have movies like this? Becuz $'s are more important than art in the theater, and I dont think we'll see men like Kirk, Cary, Rock, Jimmy Stewart or Cagney- because time has changed our men. How they dress, think, look and act. There are very few as fine as the men of the forties and fifties and some later. Oh this is a gem for sure. !! and that goes for the ladies as well.
