Sitting Ducks

My now eight year old and I used to enjoy this show on ION TV but then it was moved to the wee hours of the morning at about 3am so we dearly missed it. Now we can once again enjoy it on HULU. The show it reminiscent for me of the old time kids shows on tv in the 60's. They often had elements to them that the adults could appreciate. Rocky and Bullwinkle comes to mind among others.

I loved this show when it first came out and still have a soft spot for it. The characters and the situations they get into are absolutely hilarious!A great family show, as it does have good lessons to go along with the fun. Snag it if you find it on DVD!

I only started watching this after the FCC started the digital TV thing. After we got our digital conversion box we got a few new channels. (We could not afford cable at the time.) We were introduced to Qubo TV (until then we had seen only a few Qubo shows that were being shown on our NBC channel on Friday and Saturday afternoons) When I first saw Sitting Ducks I fell in love with it. Not only is it a show my boys can enjoy but I can enjoy it as well. I love the jokes, the way Bill is always yearning to fly, Aldo working at the bowling factory (all of the alligator bowling scenes) Bills three bumbling friends, Bev at the Decoy diner and everybody else. The only thing I hate is that Qubo now only airs episodes on saturdays and Sundays instead of everyday like they used to. I understand they ony have a couple of seasons worth of the show but this is one of those shows I can watch all the episodes over and over again.

My husband and I both love Sitting Ducks and own the few episodes they released on DVD. We really wish the company who owns these would release the entire thing--all seasons, all episodes--on DVD. We have a lot of friends and family members who love this show and Bedard's books as well and would love to have them on DVD, too.
