Single Princesses and Blind Dates

Meh...hated Sex in the City and don't think it's anything like any drama I've ever seen and I've seen a crapton of dramas. For the record, in my opinion, Korean dramas far outstrip any other nations. Japanese doramas are a good second I can barely get through a Taiwanese drama without gagging though they do have some pretty decent movies out. And "The devil beside me/you" (can't remember if it is me or you) is pretty good. I've yet to sit through a drama from the Philipines or Hong Kong, so...you have to search and look through piles of dreck. Even in the Korean Dramas there are some real stinkers.But if you're interested...DramaFever has an adequate library to get you started, though that's only Korean dramas. DramaCrazy has dramas from everywhere but the mirrors can be dicey. Nothing like watching 9 episodes only to find out the mirror for the tenth onward is broken. MySoju is another clearinghouse for all types of dramas but their mirrors are for crap. Viki is freaking awesome but doesn't have a huge library. I may be forgetting a site or two but that's enough to get anyone started if you're interested in Dramas/Doramas/Sageuks/ etc...   See 6 other replies

I really wonder if Hulu Execs read these posts... I never watched to many mainland dramas, a few from TL, but that is about it. But I do like this series... better than a lot of trash on US TV, hehe (and good for those studying Chinese).As for SITC, totally hated the series and found Candice Bushnell's collection of novellas on the same subject, entitled Four Blonds to be a complete bore.Too bad there are not more J&K Dramas...   See 6 other replies
