Awesome! This is my absolute FAVORITE comedy show of all time!

I'm so glad I taped just about every episode when this originally aired and how utterly disappointed I was when it didn't even last through he first season!

So many fabulous sketches that would leave you in stitches and oh how I wished they would bring this back - I still wish there were more shows like this. I just don't understand the lack of taste in really clever humor these days.

Ahead of its time

Carvey is a genious, this show is like SNL without the boring sketches. As an added bonus we get to see early Steven Colbert and Steve Carrell before they made it with the Daily Show.

I only saw a couple episodes of the show during its original run and thought it was hilarious. I remember some of the material being "contraversial" at the time, but it seems about on par, or even tame compared to what we have in prime-time today. So glad I found this so I can enjoy the rest of the show.

If you like SNL and Python, you'll like it

It's very similar to Saturday Night Live during the mid-1980s to mid-1990s era, which was heavily influenced by the absurdist humor of Monty Python's Flying Circus. A lot of the sketches on The Dana Carvey Show have a "Pythonesque" quality of irreverent absurdism to them. In addition to Dana Carvey, the show features the brilliant comedic talents of Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert, among others.

PERFECT!!!!!

It was an awesome idea to give Dana Carvey his own show. He was one of the best SNL performers. Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert are very funny too.
