Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_full Delightful but faded memories from 35 years ago glow a bit brighter now.
How I loved this show when I was a child, a daily event that filled my walks home from school with the excitement of anticipation. Sometimes I was Johnny "Sacko" (I couldn't spell it then) and sometime I was Giant Robot, with my arms out, flying, or stretching them forward and moving my hands up and down while my missiles strafed the bad guys.

I still remember writing about "Giant Robot" (as I called it) for a 3rd grade assignment. I was so fascinated by the robot that I wasn't aware until much later that the show wasn't called "Giant Robot". The single episode I watched (number 1) brought so many little pieces of the show that I hadn't realized I had forgotten--the Atomic Punch, Giant Robot's stylized arm movements before fighting, the Gargoyle gang, U-3; even the Giant Robot's finger missiles and eye lasers were dimming as memories. I still vividly remember almost crying when Giant Robot's eyes were damaged in one episode (I don't think included in this batch). I probably did cry.

Not even the 60's-era special effects or the Fisher-Price quality video can diminish the joy of seeing this again.

Boy,that takes me back.Johnny Sokko,Ultra Man,AstroBoy...thank you Hulu. Now ,if we can just get the Green Hornet,that would be "SWEET!" Thats when being young was fun.Even now,my younger kids are enjoying them.Again...I thank you Hulu.

Wow what memories this brings back I used to never miss this show after school. I would always watch johnny sokko and ultra man back to back, sure hope they put up some ultra man also great job HULU !!!!!!!!

I grew up on johnny sokko and havent seen it on t.v since 85 or so used to watch it every year,and sadly it disappeared!Thanks to hulu and the internet I can enjoy this classic over n over again and I still love and my kids do too!!

I haven't seen this in almost 40 years! I used to pretend I was the flying robot when I was a boy! This brings back great memories! I too have Ultraman on DVD and hopefully will have this show!

What a great reminder of the days of running home to watch this show ultraman and another called the space giants. I have Ultrman on dvd now I've found this show does anyone no anything about the space giants?
