Simply put - one of the best

This was a simply amazing game. Just when you thought it was over for Oklahoma, they come storming back and take what looks to be an insurmountable lead with the amount of time left. Then, just when you thought it was over for Boise State, they come back. Going for the two point conversion in overtime not only took guts, it was just plain crazy. I love when a team (and I do mean team) plays like they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Absolutely one of the best games I've ever seen.

The greatest college football game of our generation

I know some of you are old enough to remember "Flutie's Magic" that won the game for his team in the 80s...(sorry my memory slips me on the exacts of the game, but Google for more info if you'd like)...But this game was one for the ages...a true matchup of "The Bully" versus "The Little Guy"...Oklahoma was suppose to run over Boise State and wipe them off the field, but the Broncos were well prepared and well trained for this game. It will be a game that I will never forget and will tell my grandchildren about. I went to school at Boise State and am a true Bronco fan. Since they had a perfect season that year, they should have played for the BCS National Title Game. I know a lot of you will tell me, "Look at talent, teams they played and beat previously, and depth chart", I agree. But if a team has a perfect season, why not give them one shot at, e.g., Ohio State or the Florida Gators? They at least deserve that much. But, I guess we'll never know the outcome of that scenario. So, to sum this comment up, remember the name Ian Johnson, because he just might go in the first round of the draft in 2009. And GO BRONCOS!!!

Best finish ever!

The sandlot play that Boise State breaks out to win it is the single greatest play in the history of football. The nerve it takes to call that play for all the marbles is beyond me. This is David vs. Goliath incarnate!
