Best show ever canceled
The only problem with this series is that it was introduced before its time. DVD sales of both the series and the movie should tell the networks something about this brilliant show. A perfect blend of the western and SF genres that needs to be brought back.

Not just a TV show, but rather an artistic masterpiece!
It has taken me a few days to find the right words to fully explain this great show, and I'm glad I've finally found them. This show is crafted so well with its brilliant humor and clever dialogue. The cinematography is artful, but not eccentric. The plot is engaging and creative. The cast is phenomenal as a crew that seemingly could never work together but is as close as a family. Which brings me to the true beauty in this show. The unparalleled aspect is that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you delve into this work of art. That feeling of family, of home, that it brings to you. I could spend hours trying to explain this, but it's really something you have to experience yourself. I truly hope the FOX network understands the terrible mistake they made in ending one of the few TV shows that actually existed for the art. I don't think I'll ever look at FOX the same.

One of my all time favorites...
Firefly is one of the best shows ever... really. I still cannot believe that they pulled the plug on this. This is truly great TV. In my heart of hearts, I keep hoping for a "Family Guy"-esque resurrection.

The best TV show in years!
Easily one of the best shows to hit television this decade! This show has it all. Mysterious characters, great action, witty humor, and anything else you can ask for. Do yourself a favor and watch this wonderful show, and I can guarantee that by the end of the series you will be in love.

Also, be sure to check out the feature length movie Serenity that was created after Fox canceled the show. Thats right, the show was so good that after less than a full season on the air and an early cancellation it was given a movie deal by Universal.

THE reason proving why Fox needs to make smarter decisions
This was one of the best shows to come out of both Joss Whedon and Fox. But it was clear from the get go that Fox had no intention of supporting the show. Shuffling its programming schedule each week and showing episodes out of order does not help a new series take off. I wish it had stuck around longer, but am glad it paved the way for the movie. Maybe Joss can make a spin-off series? Hopefully Fox doesn't make the same mistake with his new show, Doll house.

Brilliant
The dialogue written for the character Captain "Mal" Reynolds is the the best I have ever heard in any television show that I have ever seen - period.

Amazing
There's nothing that I can say about this show that hasn't already been said. Having only discovered the show a few years ago, I must say that it is the best show I have ever watched. A pity that Fox, and not a more decent company, was in charge.

Down to earth
A gritty down to earth show, of a ragtag crew that is trying to survive in an uncertail world with a couple of fugitives abord. Very enjoyable dialog, and charicter interaction.

Enjoyed every episode, and they all offered something different.
