I was only 6 yrs old this show came on ABC; which was my fave network. I'm a OTR truck driver, and two weeks ago, I discovered Hulu.com on the internet and the joy of seeing these retro shows from the 60's to the 80's made me feel like thousand tons of TV boredom of today has been whisked off my shoulders!!! All the actors and actresses played their parts beautifully. Back in 1970, I didnt understand the concept of that show. But here I am at 44, and it really opened my eyes and my horizons to a time of innocence and of family complacency. Much better than digging up dead bodies (CSI,Crossing Jordan) etc. I dislike today's TV because its too gruesome, dark, and hopeless. Back to the show, its so sad that the Professor (Richard Long, who also starred in The Big Valley), passed away in the 70's. He was one the best of the greatest actors of all time. Now, anywhere I go, I play the Nanny episodes every chance I get. It gives me a feeling of joy and calm. Once again, thank you soooo very much Hulu.com for giving us these great shows to view over and over again. Keep it up!!!
