this show is exactly what i wanted to see in an anime. A lil bit of comedy and horror kinda stayig true to the animes we've all come and love but with an amazing story line that in my case kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I was craving action and this show gave it to me the best thing about it is that it goes with the story meanin it doesn't get boring like with other shows. If you want your mind blown by a great anime series watch this one. Definetly one of my favorites top 5.

Thank you Hulu, for if you hadn't had this in your arsenal of anime, I would have missed it.

This is definitely a series worth watching, the storyline is fantastic. The brief description really doesn't do it justice; the series really fleshes out a ton of characters along the way. Any series with fighting monks in a good storyline makes me happy, but undead school girls is a HUGE bonus!

It has a mature rating for good reason, but the art is very good.

Oh, and kudos for it being subbed and in it's orignal form!

I love the subbed versions. The voices are better and I can pick up some of the phrases. sometimes the dubbed are fine, but if you've started watching subbed, it's hard to transition to dubbed because it doesn't sound right. More subbed please! See 42 other replies

As much as I wanted things to go the obvious direction, they did it the hard way and their effort shows. They did a dandy job on it. Plot and flow were both present. Ideas were communicated clearly without relying on a narrator. The mind sets of the majority of the characters were believable. There weren't any ridiculous plot twists that totally threw me for a loop.

They weren't afraid of a little violence and it was definitely geared towards a more mature crowd, not lewd, but there was definitely a number of bare belly buttons.
