Shattered Angels

Not really my type of show, what with the prince thing and the whole lovey dovey stuff. However, I watched it till the end, and even though it's still very girly all the way through, I enjoyed it. Admittedly, I almost stopped watching after the first episode, what with "RISING UNICORN!" and all.... I even tried to make my husband say it, but he kept laughing after "rising."

Its not like Kannazuki no Miko (but Kaon and Himiko 'are' a reincarnation of Himeko and Chikane if you read up on it), and that's the reason allot of us watched this. So, if your a fan of Yuri, watching those 2 get tortured in every way possible (and worse if you listen to the drama CD) is very painful as they tend to be one of our favorite Yuri couples. In Japanese the scenes are far more touching and the Himeko scenes are heart wrenching. In the end this series is made of fail and lose, unless you edit all the scenes of those 2 onto 1 disk. The 6 special episodes are okay, but special episode 2 is made of concentrated win. A little sad but still Yuri bliss. Also, more happy ending treats with our Yuri couple to enjoy.

To be honest I found this show kinda crappy, it's not what I expected I thought it would be like Destiny of the shrine maiden. I got bored after the first 15 minutes. The first thing that pissed me off of the story was when "The Prince" rips her shirt open and she starts crying like a pussy like if it was her fault. I swear if this chick were real i'd slap her. If you're like me you'll get bored of it easily. If you want a show that won't get you bored and is from the same guy Kaishaku watch Destiny of the shrine maiden (Kannazuki no miko - Priesteses of a Goddless Month) It's Romance, Mecha and somewhat Yuri.

This show is pretty much for little girls,
It reminds me of a show like Sailor Moon.
I lost interest after about 15 minutes

I think that the main character is too obsesive with 'I"m so empty' and all that crap. She is sort of an air head who thinks only about boys, and when something bad happens she blames herself and starts crying about it. An explosion when off. Oh it was my fault, and she starts crying. She didn't really do that, but seriously, if that happened, she would do that. But the plot is okay, it's got the story, but it's muddled with the 'Dear prince, I hope this finds you well' crap. Just get on with your life and stop fantizing about some guy who doesn't exist! I'm a girl and I think the 'romance' sucks. And the kissing thing, why couldn't they make it you touch someone and abosrb it when you want to. I mean, why do girls have to kiss girls and make sounds? That is just disgusting.
