School Rumble

REALLY! stop complaining i watch the sub and read the manga, and think that they did get the voices pretty accurately, i don't know if you heard the actual sub, but the Japanese tend to speak in a higher pitch then us... so the voices they have to pick turn out to be a little higher, which so happens to come out like a valley girl. Plus don't give me this "true anime fans listen to subs or raw" stuff. Have you ever thought that ppl might not want to watch something they don't understand, you learn in speech and business to appeal to your audience and i am sure they don't want to appeal to you OTAKU who can get the subs of the internet for free. This company is trying to make a profit, and so what if they have a few changes. All you otaku and shut-ins along with the narutards should get a life, YOU R NOT THEY'RE DESIRED DEMOGRAPHIC, i believe kids and people who r just getting started with anime is there target. Believe me i don't like how they mess things up either, look at ONE PIECE, my favorite anime, cigarettes are lollipops, sweat is blood, and Sanji has a Brooklyn accent. I'll end with this question... WASN'T THE FIRST ANIME YOU'VE SEEN BEEN DUBBED? for me it was Pokemon or Dragonball Z, if that show was subbed i most likely wouldn't have watched it.p.s. most kids don't like to read for fun.see ya at AX (California). if you want to dispute this further i'll be the one making fun of the Narutards and mispronouncing characters from Naruto, and challenging them to a sparring match.

Seriously people if you got a problem with the dubbing than just don't watch it. If you care so much than start a mullion dollar corporation and dub it your own self. I myself aint a fan of neither dubs nor subs, I prefer the manga over animes any day, but even I can just sit back and tell the freaking difference and choose whether to continue watching the dub and deal with it, or find the anime sub version instead of whining about it. On that note, there are anime who subs I liked, like black blood brothers and school rumble to a lesser extent.

All dubs are awful, but School Rumble is one of the particularly bad ones. If you are watching the dub you aren't watching the actual show. I'd go so far as to say you're not even watching anime anymore. If you're going to watch dubs just stick with Spongebob.Everything Denna Preston said is true (anyone who can't figure out why aren't anime fans anyway). I'd like to add though the fact that not only do they choose the worst VA's out there, they change things a lot so what they're saying in English can fit the animation. A lot of the time the characters end up saying something COMPLETELY different than what's in the original. Dubs are what's dragging the industry in the US down. The companies all focus on the dubs, even providing mostly dubbed extras and completely ignoring the original content, and eventually crank out a pathetic attempt at a sub, in the god-awful yellow no less. All because some people "dun can't wutch and rede at the same time." And they wonder why no one wants to buy their crap?And Quentin Pryor you're right, you're not a true anime fan. And your comment about watching RAW over subbed is ridiculous, you don't magically learn how to understand a language over a few years and not everyone can afford to learn.

I definitely agree with this statement, though, there are 2 anime shows that I can only stand in Dubbed they would have to be InuYasha and Naruto. Scratch that, 3. Because Death Note would have to be the third one. Those are the ONLY anime shows I watch in english dubbed. The rest are subbed ONLY.
