Man I love/hate cliff hangers, now I need to go elsewhere to find the next episode. Too bad hulu could not get the entire season in the line up, I would throw out my TV and use only my PC for viewing if hulu really got this together...

First to all the late comers who didnt get to watch the early episodes your really not missing much. This is one of those shows that bloomed abit late. All the early plots where poorly defined and rushed. Trying to shovel the show down instead of trusting in us to savior it. You can pretty much pick up all the important information from the last 2 episodes. Which is sad because that tells me this could have been a 2 hour long made for tv movie with any of the small bits of back ground info from the majority of the season and crammed them into a short round up the members and give a brief background session then got onto the find the lost city event.
The whole secret society of monsters and super scientist while the whole world goes on none the wiser is abit weak. It works in harry potter but in a world of digital cameras of every shape and size and spy cams in space, governments are and will be involved. If they want to infer that all governments are under the rule of this shadow cabal then they should of made it clear to us the viewers because though I dont personally think any government really cares for its pawns I dont think any so stupid it does not keep tabs on things most of us have 0 clue about.
And really the cast is largely un interesting. Aside from lovely veterans of sci fi like amada tapping and some of those guest stars like the guys from highlander the series most of the scenes could of had anyone in them. The lead guy is ok but I dont find him to really put out a super observant genius investigator. The cute girl bad azz is just that a cute girl bad azz. I dont really think she looks like she would of been born of a union of her on screen parents.
Dont get me wrong I look forward to the next season but they need to really dig up some decent writers to pump some real creative life, and cut down the current cast of mains to the essential leading lovely and maybe actually focus on the 5. I always liked the guy who played methos on highlander and found the death of watson so soon in th show to pizz me off.
So really just watch the last 2 episodes. Think of it kinda like a league of extraordinary gentleman themed movie and if u enjoy it stay tuned for season 2 in october. Hopefully it will keep up the pace and not turn back into drivle.

Amanda Tapping did a great job. I like her in this char. vs. her Carter char. Bravo..
P.S. Avoid the commercials and watch it on Netflix... ;o)

Of course I personally want all season one and everything else online.....I think this is a very well done series, however I worry that SyFy channel is going broke or something they've taken a lot of good series and canned them...I want season 2 to open asap :P. I wish it would just come to hulu first or their own site I don't care rather watch it like this than on televisions.

This is high-class, lovingly crafted entertainment. Depth, character, intrigue and a terrific universe. Amanda, I was annoyed when you left Atlantis - but THIS IS WORTH IT.
The fact that they don't spend trillions of dollars on live locations just - amusingly enough - intrigues me more. It takes guts, creativity, talent and a determination to make it this real, this involved with just what they've got.
Kudos to Amanda - but I have to say I had a happy spaz when I saw Joe Byrnes and Peter Wingfield on here, even in guest-starring roles. Those guys are real darlings and actors PAR EXCELLENCE.
It's an annoying and amusing fact that both Ashley and Will are growing on me - as well as (holy crap!) John Druitt. It was hard for me to be interested in Ashley at first and Will just wasn't that intriguing.
I REALLY like 'em now.
I love Druitt's accent. The way he handles the character has real depth - but he's not entirely lost to angst and indecision. He knows what he wants to do and he does it. I laughed when I realized he was from (I think) fourth season Stargate SG-1.
All in all, my hat's off to you guys. A real vision, Amanda - thanks for being key in setting up another terrific, fun show!!!

Hulu please, add the complete series of the shows you have for viewing. It is very fustrating not to be able to watch the rest once we are hooked to a series like Babylon 5, SG1, and course this one "Sanctuary". Made me search and go to AOL or other web tv service to be able to quench my thirst for my favorites tv shows.
Now, This an awesome series, I wasn't very sure about watching it, but, once I saw the pilot it got me hooked. The plot is good with a pinch of humor and the all the probabilities about the the unknown life forms that can or could exist.
Also, love the chemistry between Amanda and the young (Daniel Jackson) Yes, for us fans of the SG1 series, you can see that Will has some mannerisms and the way he talks juts like our "space monkey" ;-)
Very entertaining show and would love to see more seasons and not be cancel, like so other good series as Firefly, Jake 2.0 etc.

Exactly how long is the cycling on this show?

This show has some really great characters that are entertaining to watch, and there is an interesting mix of experimentation (see episodes 9 and 11) on the behalf of the director. The first season seems to fumble around during the initial episodes but picks up speed and becomes a lot more entertaining in the end. Episodes 11-13 are probably the most entertaining and exciting in the series. Due to experimentation and pacing. What really needs to happen in season two is for each episode to maintain the full momentum of character exploration, action and dialogue.
Can't wait for season two and I hope it pulls through.
