i wish i could watch this movie again on hulu

Star Trek and Star Wars are very similar. As are Rob Roy and Braveheart. Keep your opinions to yourself, you do not have the mental fortitude to express them. See 2 other replies

Why bother comparing two totally different movies and saying one is better than the other, it's like comparing Star Wars to Star Trek, two concepts that have nothing in common other than the word "Star" for reference that it's a space odyssey. Or better yet and more recent are the movies "The Illusionist" and "The Prestige". Two totally different movies compared to each other for the commonality of the subject that is magic and the fact they both started with "The".
This Rob Roy is a good, if not great movie in it's own right that should be compared to Braveheart as much as it should be to the Highlander.

The first time I watched Rob Roy, I was also disappointed. I too felt it was anti-climactic, and that it had a lot of wasted potential.

The second time I watched, less than six months later, boy did I change my mind. All the potential that seemed wasted before was, in my opinion, fulfilled in a great film. No, it's not as mind-blowing as Braveheart, but it is a great story about one man who valued his honor above all else, and what it cost him to defend. I hope to be as honorable a man as the Rob Roy presented in the film.

10 stars all the way. A must see film.

My favorite movie of all time. Panoramic scenery, splendid period costumes and superb acting. Tim Roth's character makes your skin crawl and Liam Neeson is the perfect bold highlander. You'll love this movie.
