Second of all people are complaining that girl talk is not a "real musician" because of the way he does it.
Well, if hes not a real musician is his stuff not "real music"?
If you don't think so, can you see that maybe other people are getting something out of it that your not?
There have been a few people complaining that they spent their entire life mastering an instrument and girl talk did not.
Is it only considered art if it was hard?
what if he had to individually play each of the pieces on the original instruments to make the music? would it be art then?
he would have to spend a lot more time and effort to make a cd but it would be the same product. perhaps, we should consider the fact that yes, girl talk is more directly intertwined with the pieces he draws from than those pieces were with the pieces they drew from and this could never be the primary type of musical expression as there need to be other more intellectually daring branches. however, to make this type of music (basically a collage) illegal? that just seems silly.
