considering this was a new show during the writers strike, the first season should have already been written before picking the show up, it's fairly common practice from my understandingwith that taken into consideration, with only 7 episodes and nothing else on tv, either they show failed to get viewers (which would mean most found the show unwatchable) or was doomed from from lack of written episodes at the worse possible timemaybe if mr goldblum could learn to play a different character people wouldn't be so tired of him
