Project Blue Earth SOS

At first I was thinking, oh, same old same old. Aliens come to Earth, yada yada yada. But it has a very unique storyline. At least, unique for me since I have never seen a storyline like it before. There were some very intense moments, which I enjoyed. The 45 minute shows did throw me for a loop though. Sometimes it seemed like I had been watching it for a really long time (not that it was boring at all) and then other times I felt like I had missed it going over to the next episode somehow.

I wish Hulu would separate the sub versus dub episodes, but just use the "cc" listings to chose.I dunno what people are smoking when they question the voice character acting - I bet it's the crappy English dub...
I've got no problem with the original Japanese audio with the English sub.
Get a life all you anti-sub / pro-dub whiners!This was a larger-then-normal production, as it's almost movie quality in terms of the animation.
Anime production companies don't usually do SIX 45-minute mini-series, so I think this took a serious budget to finance.
If you're into sci-fi, this a must-see!Cheesy?
Sure, it's something along the lines of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, but since when you're worried how consistent anime series were in terms of the real world?
It's fiction for christsake...

good art work good story other than that it was too Buck Rogers for my taste i leave up to see what i'm talking about.

I found this to be a true gem. It's cheesy storyline and 'theme' reminded me of a old black and white sci-fi flick. But it did it so well you actually enjoyed the fact it was like that.From ray guns, to flying saucers, this is an all out good ride. And the ending makes you stop and say, hm, interesting, didnt see that one coming.

Although this is dubbed they did a pretty good job of casting the voice actors. They at least had several different accents and they cadence wasn't bad. It was funny watching this cos it reminded me of the Puppet Sci Fi movies from the 60's and 70's. This in particular was similar to a Japanese live action movie called"The War in Space." Over all it was a fun little series.
