The main idea for the show has promise, but the host is obnoxious. By the end of the episode I felt embarrassed for him. If they spent more time on the culture of the place and the native cooking I could forgive them for their horrid choice in a host.

This is a really fun show. Ralph comes off as genuine and you can't help but hope he can pull it off. Perhaps, it's not as educational as some other "food & travel" shows but it has a fun sense of suspense. The series also reminds me of a British show called "Travel Sick" with a similar premise of punishment for not accomplishing tasks, but with a lot more grosser punishment!

I enjoy travel shows, I enjoy food shows, and throw in some adventure and you've got a great mix. Ralph really makes the show - he seems like the kind of guy who could do anything and make it entertaining. Definitely worth a try!
