I just got out of the joint man. This movie dosent even come close to how rough it is in there. I had to fight for survival daily. I came out stroger than ever ya dig. I suggest all of you rush out and commit a felony right now. Dont just watch the movie live it . Life imitateing art that imitates life. This is for all my boys who died in the pen Joe rock , Amazon, Pink, and skittels oh and I cant forget Chico Rodrigaz my Cuban ninja trainer he got shanked in the shower over a cup of coffee GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU
I actually met the director recently. This was his third film out of UCLA. Albeit it has arguable plot flaws -- arguable insomuch as I'll respect your saying it has them, though I think otherwise -- I think it gives an interesting perspective on what prison could and did do to people.
If you liked this even a little, you ought to hunt down "Emma Mae" by Fanaka, released as "Black Sister's Revenge."
This Movie Blows Chunks all over the place. I don't think they even had a Script, not to mention the Lousy Boxing sequence's. How long didthis thing last in the Theatre, a day?
I've seen Student Films better than this.
If your in the mood to see a few good brawls....this is a good movie to watch. Not to much focused on prison life but more on the boxing and fighting... Good movie and story line!
