Well this channel is dedicated to NYC music and it's not there to say that there's no other places where you can find great music...

I am sure that there are a plethora of talented and interesting acts in New York City, but what about the rest of the country? It seems to me that, especially after 9-11, New York is the end-all-be-all of America. Lots of other cities out there, folks, and lots of talented people. Hell, The Flaming Lips hail from Oklahoma. Snap out of it America. New York is big, which is not to be confused with great.
