I didn't think it was too bad. Better than a lot I have seen.

Nine people stuck in a house. All are forgettable at best, regrettable at worst. One finds an old book and unleashes evil. People die.
There. Now watch something better.
Well, maybe I was a bit harsh. Nine young adults (original) go to a house in the middle of nowhere (original). They drink and chat without a care in the world (original) but then we see the most horrible thing ever: Paris Hilton trying to act (joke totally original). A storm is coming that will snow them in (original, and certainly used many times later to explain why they don't leave). A guy acts odd, then finds an old book of spells (original).
After finding the old book, people start becoming evil and hurting each other while the evil moves between them (original). Then Ash has enough and tries to destroy the deadites in the cabin whithou ... oops, wrong movie.
People can't trust each other and die as a result. Then something happens to end it -- to be honest I gave up at that point and started to count the hairs on my head since it was more satisfying and less futile.
Oh, and Paris Hilton? I am not one of those who attacks everything she does, but she is terrible in this movie. The flick might be worth watching just to see her futile head-tossing arm-flailing attempts to be an ACTOR. It really is pathetic, but good news and bad news: She dies early, but it isn't nearly as satisfying as watching her get two-teaspoons of grey matter shucked from her brain when she gets killed in House of Wax.
So, to recap, Paris killed, plot stolen from Evil Dead but with people that only Ivy League folk could even *attempt* to relate to, and Paris killed.
And Paris gets killed.

Wow. Now that's what you call a movie. And Paris and the last chick that died were deliciously hot.

I think this was a dumb movie the whole topic of this movie made no sense. The reason behind the killing didn't make any sense it shouldn't have been more detailed. The actors if you can call them that I never felt any terror for there lives in this movie.

Dumb movie.....I think that they could have had at least real snow and what happened to the butler.etc?I think they could have made it more interesting...with putting in the history more of the killer and then let them have a way out.....

I thought it was ok...yes i've seen better but it wasnt bad! I enjoyed it pretty well...the killing could have been a little better...but ya know they cant all be perfect!
