I think this is a neat program, giving us a view of players, coaches, and officials that we had never had before. Sure, it's a few years old, but NFL Films is almost invariably worth it. The only real downside to the show is that it's a bit hit-and-miss; if I don't care for a player or coach (Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, BIll Belichick, for instance) I almost certainly won't like that episode. However, there are plenty of interesting personalities. And the reviewers calling the players and coaches overpaid seem to have overlooked the fact that the vast majority of these people had their careers in the 80's and 90's, before salaries became ridiculously large and out-of-control. No, this is a very good program, one that shows NFL people as human beings, not as stars.

I decided to try this series but after just one just could not deal with it, especially in a year like this with the lock-out looming. The players are overpaid the coaches are overpaid and what "average" family can afford to go to a pro game today? Oh well at least there will be college ball, now if we could only get all of the colleges to admit they pay players (and I am from Alabama and a HUGE Bama fan, and I just know we have paid players) we could just have have the college season with a lot less distractions.

It's amazing that the NFL believes that we are supposed to be so in awe of these overpaid lummoxes that we want to watch shows from 4-5 years ago. The ONE thing that never changes?: The poor taste that head coaches in the NFL show in clothes. The NFL should hire "dressers" for 90% of them!
