Negima!? Magister Negi Magi

SHAFT, the studio that did Negima!?, is releasing sets of OVAs that are basically the manga with color, sound and motion. They follow the story of the manga, they have the exact same art. It's for all intents and purposes the manga animated. You can find the OVAs at the usual fansub places. They start with the formation of Ala Alba though, and just started the Magic World arc. I, myself, own every installment that has come out to date of the Negima?! manga, and I find that this second series still doesn't really follow the story line as well as I thought it would. The manga has a really excellent story line to it, and true depth when it comes to character chemistry and relations. Some characters only supply a supporting type role, while others have a real impact on the life of Negi. The anime series really doesn't touch on that as much, and it takes away key parts that are essesintal in the growth of Negi and his party. I know that more times than naught animes based on manga series that are still in progress don't follow the same story line, but I truely feel that this is one anime series that should try to follow the story of the manga. But, the anime is still very decent, and I don't mean to take anything away from the people who produce and publish it. It's just, in my own personal opinion, that they should make a more conscience effort to stick with the glorious story telling of Ken Akamatsu's work. Also, I hope when they finish the manga that they make an anime based solely on the manga storyline. I believe it will be another remarkable milestone for Akamatsu, along with his other fabulous work, Love Hina(Also another great piece by Ken). Thank you.   See 11 other replies

Ya I gotta say the same thing but the Negima? manga gose on a ways after the first Negima? (anime) ended
This remake is lot more better the the first Negima?
AND this Negima? (anime) is by the Author Ken Akamatsu who made Negima? in the first place.   See 11 other replies
