"Needless" parodies Post-Apocalyptic Anime. If you are the kind of person who watches Kaiju movies in letterbox with subtitles and thinks that Anime should take itself as seriously as you do, you won't like it. If you like hardcore comedy that skewers Conventions, references to other Anime, Old School named attacks that take longer to announce than deliver, stylized comic fights, fan service including, (but not limited to,) affectionate Smothering, scantily clad lolis, panty shots,Boing, a top heavy villainess and Yuri, Gags that fly by so fast that you are going to have to rewind a few times to catch them, and self-referencing humor that includes the audience in the joke, and maintains the courage of its silliness throughout all 24 episodes--then, I'MHO, you're probably going to like this show.

This anime is funny and has a good story but just doesnt have that one thing that really draws you in. I did enjoy watching it but unlike animes i really enjoy, when i finished i wasnt bummed that there wasn't more. But it has good fight scenes, no overkill with any romance, and it does make you laugh if you enjoy anime humor. Overall i say its a good timekiller series when you're waiting for new episodes of other anime or whatever you watch.

I was interested in the manga when I first noticed it online. The off-the-wall silliness blended with stylized action violence was entertaining, and the characters for the most part were intriguing.Seeing it turned into an Anime was kind of expected for the most part, it's inevitable for anything that's a manga. Imagine my surprise when I found out the anime was more exciting than the manga!I will say this about the series, the characters are insane. Well except Cruz, he's kind of pretty level-headed, but the rest of the characters are utterly insane. And it's that kind of insanity that makes this series as a whole so enjoyable.The opening theme has a very engaging power metal feel to it, it's energetic, it's strong, and exciting; while the ending theme is a brilliant contrast, bubbly J-Pop. And if you're wondering about the ending animation, I'm just gonna say FAN-SERVICE and leave it at that.So if you're looking for an action anime that doesn't take itself seriously, this series is a good choice.

I have watched half way through the series, this is just like dragon balls z but with girls.
every episode I watch, i ask the qustion how the f*** did their clothing re-apear when all there clothing was shredded off. they name there attacks before they throw a hit. now adays we dont say super ultra punch for a speech of 5 sec, we just sock you in the face. this show reminds me of heroic age where nobody is a bad guy and not many people die. this show could be for kids but with some nudity/blood and/or gore, its best for 13+.if your interested in DBZ, yu yu aku show, this show might be for you.

I personally loved this anime. Some people may not like it, that's their opinion. The music is just right for the hardcore/fast-paced action that pops up. The comedy isn't overshadowing of the main point. The characters are great combinations to each other. If you've watched Gurren Lagann and loved it, you'll love this anime. The over the top, off the wall scenes reflect their styling in everyway. So watch it, give it a chance, who knows you just might love it like I did
