Nanking

Why has this story gone unnoticed for so long? Why develop a documentary in which not many people shall see? The reason:
Simple. These are similar stories (if not more horrific) as the holocaust of Jews. Many Jews have been more vocal on the holocaust, and they should. Where as the majority of Chinese have been minimal in their voice on this matter. The hope for conclusion:
This story shall initiate a "yell", not a "whisper", to the mainstream to develop non-fictional movies about this specific time in history (ie Schindler's List as to the Holocaust)... before it has been forgotten.It is not about forgiving (as many have), but it is more about NOT FORGETTING.Regards.

I just finished watching Nanking. I was attracted to it from having read The Rape of Nanking (based in large part on the same sources as the movie). One of the thoughts I had is that a movie like this should not be interrupted by ads. Is there anyway to express this thought to Hulu?I highly recommend the movie.

I don't believe the purpose of this film is to insight fear, hate, or any other similar emotions. So why are people posting such things in their reviews? They then cut her up in pieces.The Japanese believed they were the only children of the "Sun god" and that all other nations and peoples were less than human and were to be enslaved and used. Those included the British and American civilians they raped and starved to death in prison camps. The terror the world witnessed from the Japanese soldier was no different in nature from the terror we witness today from similar enemies of mankind.
