Murder Princess

Wow that was actually...good. Bare standard animation style and goofy beggining ended up in a very engaging final few episodes. People will say there should have been more episodes but I would disagree. Its better to leave things to imagination rather than explaining a concept done a thousand times. Keep the surprising bits and leave out the rest. The one thing I would like to have seen is what got her brother to start thinking the way he did. But you don't really need to know that, and its interesting to try and guess what would lead him down that path of thought. Did he happen to see a bunch of killing on his expeditions and the old woman took advantage of him then?
I wish more anime and drama shows in general, would use this short format. There are really only a few key moments in a series where character and plot are defiined and the rest is just repetition. This is like eating the top of a muffin. Sure there is moree there but are you really missing out? I would have skipped this if it had been more than 10 episodes and I had to watch them killl expendable monster #128. Each eppisode was necesary for the story to advance sensibly, like they had a long crappy series, hand picked the important episodes and ended up with a good series. In the spirit of the series I end thing here.

If you are looking for fanservice, don't even bother. This anime is short, gets straight to the point with no long, boring, or drawn out anything. It does have a rip-off of Nightmare from "Soul Calibur" though but what can you do. This anime will leave you wanting more but six episodes is all you get. Haha-ha. Not bad at all and it is quick which is good especially if you just finished BLEACH or Inuyasha or some other long drawn out anime like One Piece or something like that.

for a short series, i loved it. i'm happy that they didn't have looooonnnngggg drawn out angst where the princess and the bounty hunter whine about the switch. the android switch was a little fast, but other than that, it was a great series.

This is how to do it Hulu. Dubbed and Subbed. For me (and many others) subtitles are worthless. They are too small to read, keep me from watching the show while I am reading it, if I blink I miss the dialogue, and the show feels bizarre with the distraction language in the background. I understand the Art-Feel Stuff of the subtitled version, but you miss more of the art of the story and pictures with subtitles than you gain with having the original language. With both, this way you have the artsy and the practical. Thanks Hulu. Keep up the good job.
