Merlin appeals to older viewers as well the younger ones. I find it to be a delightful change from the arthurian legends that we all know, and love - but can only be retold so many ways and are a bit tired. a. Strict "arthurian legend is still story, just as this is but with a few refreshing twists, Merlin has great characters, acting, and effects. What more could you want? This is an extremely popular show with so many from about 8 to 80. I pray Merlin continues. My family stops everything and sits down for some great entertainment every week.
