We here in the USA have been subjected to the dregs of British sit-coms. Why? Well for one reason PBS is about the only "common" station to air these shows. Most likely due to their relationship with the BBC. Now these shows can't be cheap, and PBS is always crying poor, so maybe they buy the cheapest shows, but unfortunately I do believe that there are people who really like "Are you being served". There have been bright spots, "Chef" and "Red Dwarf" were aired on PBS, and lately the fine "Doc Martin". But look at the most popular shows in Britain and you wonder what we're missing. Well now we don't have to miss "Men Behaving Badly". While some of the comic elements get a little tired but Martin Clunes is fantastic, all the co-stars as well bring an "A" game. The first three seasons are among the best but if you get hooked you can find the rest of the seasons at other video sharing sites. Clunes rubber face and elf like smile make it hard to imagine the restraint required for his later hit Doc Martin. OK Hulu, rise to the challenge and bring up the rest of Doc Martin, Black Adder and how about Father Ted??
