Those looking for a sophisticated comedy to watch as you sip brandy in the billiard room hit the back button on your browser and go somehwere else. If you like puns and dirty jokes click play. Not for everyone but if you have the right taste this movie will keep you rolling. A great movie that lets Jim Carey do his over active comedy style. Just remember before you watch this is the same guy who brought us "Leh Who Seh Her" and "Bumblee Tuna". In other words, if you understand those references you'll like this movie ;-)
There is so much wrong with this movie: unfunny black stereotypes; actual graphic dog defecation; simulated human defecation; animal cruelty; sick dedication to Gene Siskel; endless boring credits; extreme violence served up as humor; child abuse humor.
It reminds me of movies like The World According to Garp and Hotel New Hampshire... except this movie is unsophisticated and not funny and a sad example of Jim Carrey's work - not that Jim Carrey's work is all that great anyway.
