I don't guess you've read the manga or you would know that Mokona (the "rabbit monster") is important because he created Cephiro, Earth, and the rest of the universe. So it makes sense that the creator god of the CLAMPverse would appear in lots of their titles. Bear in mind that the two Mokona Modoki in CLAMP's other titles were created by Yuko Ichihara and Clow Reed after they met Mokona so they are entirely different creatures.At first I thought the word "escudo" was just cool sounding. Once I found out that it is Spanish for "shield" I really started to like it.I have to agree completely that the armor is silly looking and only gets sillier when it gets too bulky to be even remotely useful.   See 9 other replies

I love clamp and all but4 things bothered me about this anime
First is the armor the girls recieved in the begining, it consisted of the jeweled magic glove, regular glove and chest armor and some booties not really anything very useful if u think about it.Last time I checked armor was designed to protect people right? So why not give the girls
shin guards and gauntlets instead of such useless attire. The the left handed magic glove and chestplate I can understand but what use are those boots and a regular glove in a place filled with monsters? Anyone ever heard of a shield?Plus they know nothing about the currencey used or any kind of map to know where to go as well as why r they wearing the same outfit every single episode?
the 2nd thing that bugged me was the term Magic Knight they use it consistantly it becomes annoying to hear last time I checked a knight using magic was refered to as a mystical swordsman(Slayers Next) or a Paladin I mean they could use other terms that meant the same thing.Third was the name of the rare ore Escoodo it sound like their saying "it's good Oh" seriously they couldn't have named it something better? Like perhaps Mythril or Ultima or something actually sounding like a darn metalic ore?the last thing that bugges me the little Rabbit monster that hikaru holds or the group tends to follow does anyone else notice that darn thing makes an appearence In Trigun (as a key chain) and is a main character in the actual anime Clamp sept it's black with a different colored jewel?
