Man this was so bad I couldnt finish it. Predictable, sappy, lousy acting. A rich woman cleaning your place after 1 kiss? gimme a break. A demented midget in a wheelchair running the arms for the terrorist world? And last but not least, David "Kung Fu' Carradine, man what garbage of a movie.
Predictable but semi-enjoyable since it is after all THE Chuck Norris!
Ever wonder what Walker Texas Ranger would be like on the silverscreen?! This is it! Yes there's action and yes there's Chuck but it's just---predictable and at times boring, random, and comical. I mean one of the bad guys is a freakin' midget in a wheelchair!!! This movie was made for Conan O'Brien's lever---I can see it now---THE LONE WOLF McQUADE LEVER!
This movie is pretty laughable as a story. But if you wanna see some good ol' fashioned Chuck kickin' butt karate then it might be worth it for you. One major draw is that this film pits Chuck against Kung Fu legend, David Carradine who plays a good villain. Just to see these two go at it might be the only saving grace of this film. Surprisingly the editing is also quite brisk which helps out a bit a bit w/ the bad acting and non-fighting scenes.
Otherwise, this film is kinda just a lot of bad machismo fluff. McQuade rarely seems to lose any battle which makes him seem a bit unreal. Lots of fighting, explosions and gunplay are the only things that keep the movie sputtering along.
I probably would have liked this film had I seen it as a young teenager.
