For the usual cop drama, this was as good as any other. It was interesting to see Donal Logue with his future Terriers co-stars. The writing was pretty good in that the story always flowed well from one show to the next with backstory you could stay interested in. Revealing just enough to keep you interested with the usual Ah-Ha moment at the end when all the pieces of the puzzle finally fit into place. At least this story did finally end.
So many good drama shows such as Chicago Code, Terriers, etc all seem to be at the whim of whatever studio head is in place at the time. Gritty cop drama, even the ones with good ratings and press, give way to brainless, mid numbing sitcoms about nerds, babies, and dysfunctional families.
Whoever is in charge of Law and Order and CSI must have what it takes to payoff the right people and keep those shows on the air. Maybe it really is all about "who you know" and not what you know or in this case, how well you write. Too bad some of the other good cop shows weren't so well funded or didn't know all the right people or they might still be around.
Had no problem playing Hulu and I have a Hulu+ subscription so for all those whiners without a decent Internet stream or 7 bucks to pay for a subscription I say remember when mama said, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything?".
