Watch the first one this one is horrible, I hate the main characters they will never replace Claus and Lavie. This version is just a copy of the first without the excitement. Last Exile is one my favorite animated series of all times, this watered down sell out version really doesn't deserve the title Last Exile. Its watchable but the original is epic!

I'm not going by Hulu, not sure why they have 23 episodes listed. Grand Master is the final episode according to everything I've read. But hey, I'd love it if they made a few more to tie up some crazy stuff they left open. I have a feeling they won't have another series, and I really prefer not to read manga. Who knows, I still keep dreaming that they will make the live-action movie. See 4 other replies

If you look carefully at the air dates, you should be able to tell that this series is still ongoing. They list 23 episodes but only 21 are available with the latest one locked to Hulu Plus. See 4 other replies

Did the series get bad ratings and have to get cut short or something? It was just like all-of-the-sudden done! I would have thought that this series would be 26 episodes as well, and 21 episodes doesn't seem normal for any series. I know last exile isn't very well known in America, but I thought it was pretty huge in Japan.
Ah well, I enjoyed the series and I think I have read all of the manga up to the current. Now I just need to sit tight and wait to see how Claus ends up in a wheel-chair. For anyone who hasn't checked out the manga, I would recommend doing so. I generally don't like manga, but its got a really nice side story going with the original series crew.

Oh, I thought that Earth referred to their original homeworld. This was mainly because I was under the impression that they came from our earth and that the Grand Exile would take them there. See 14 other replies
