LAPD: Life On The Beat

The Good: Helicopter officers make high speed pursuits a little safer by getting black & whites to fall back, in the hopes suspect will slow down. These days (at least on reality shows) most chases end in accidents usually with police cars right behind them and sometimes involved in accidents. Am I the only one who pulls over even before they turn on the lights?The Bad: You can tell the lawyers haven't corrupted these officers...while they at least say "suspect" there was a scene where a suspect was cuffed but told he wasn't under "arrest," just wanted for questioning. Plus SWAT these days is much more patient, usually with no shots fired. These guys were compromised before the film crew even got there! The fake dog is a good idea for suspects and officers!The Ugly: Apparently fashion has changed, even for men, in the last 14 years! Plus, "witness" in drive by shooting quickly becomes suspect yet officers have to run back and find them. Is it just me or are the officers on today's reality shows seem smarter...almost expecting anyone to be involved or know more then they're saying?
