Land of the Giants

there were only these two seasons, and this series, like Lost in Space and Time Tunnel, simply went off the air with no resolution - i.e. 'the little people' getting off the planet of giants and returning to earth..this open-ended way of leaving a series was common practice in those days, and more recently, too.......

I watched Land of the Giants during its original run when I was 10 years old. I think the show did great with what the technology was back in 1968. It was the most expensive television series in that day. Most of the expense went to making all the giant props. Irwin Allen wanted everything larger than life, and he really liked explosions. There was not much focus on drama. He liked action.
To answer Qutherlee's question; There were only 2 seasons of the show. It was just too expensive to produce. It was cancelled after season 2. Irwin Allen would have liked the show to continue and even have Mark and Valeri's characters eventually get married. Don Matheson (Mark) and Deanna Lund (Valeri) did actually get married in real life. They had a daughter and then divorced sometime later.
I wished the show would have made a comeback and produced a few more seasons 10 or 20 years later.

Could some one please up load the last seasons of land of the giants , Its not fair for me to dedicate all the time that I have dedicated watching season 1 and 2 and not get to see how the sho ends.

land of the giants is one of my all time favorites.first you the giants with crude technology and paranoid delusions were main antagonists,second the little people themselves are protagonists who usually outwit .outthink. and just survive in a world that is too big for them..
