2 Hour Premiere

I am a huge Knight Rider fan and when I first saw the trailer for this new show I was a little sceptical, but after watching the pilot episode I now have faith in this show. It's was all of the small touches and throwbacks that made it great, which if you watched the old series you will recognize. The new voice takes a little getting used to and the story seems a little more gritty, but all in all it's a new and improved Knight Rider that hasn't forgoten its roots.

Needs work!

I was totally unhappy with KITT's personality! True fans of the original series can appreciate KITT's true self. This show lacked that, not to mention the absence of some of KITT's true capabilities. How can anyone that watched and loved the original accept anyone other then William Daniels as the voice of KITT? To me, he gave KITT his personality and that is what this new show is going to need to succeed. The pilot lacked the action and the personality of the original series but I love the attempt. Please bring back KITT's personality and voice! If WD cost too much I'm sure you can find a "sound-a-like". Please bring the "REAL" KITT back? Don't wreck an Icon! You might as well paint him yellow, or for that matter paint the General Lee mauve! Don't stray from the original! You can make it better but don't make it weaker! I'll be honest! The 80's KITT would kick the crap out of the new KITT!

Justice was served.

I watched the serious when i was younger and thought it was good. i like it even better now i think justice was served. hope they countinue to work out any quinks that they may have in the storie but id like to c more.

what's this crap

Knight Rider was Coooool.....this is worm infested crap. Kitt sounds like they only had about 12 bucks to hire a narrator. The voice is crucial and they blew it. A Mustang for Kitt? Whatever. The new Camero is about to be released and that would have been perfect (as seen in Transformers) The Mustang is...well...ugly and a dated unfresh design, definitely not smooth and sleek like Kitt used to be. Good luck with this one. D.O.A.

OLD KITT cameo

I was REALLY hoping that the NEW kit and the OLD kit would cross paths and have an exchange ala the old kit passing the torch to his successor.

what a surprise

Will I was expecting the orginal show of Knight RIder on here, but I saw this terrific Hulu you reather put on this new show instead of a classic show? Bad chose to say the least, but anyways i really also like the old Knight RIder series the car was more of a future car then this new car could ever be. Plus i also didn't like the look of the new car one bit i mean yeah where is Turbo Boost? Super-Soop Mode? SKi and all? All this car can do is is go fast and what is with the car not being protected when the main computer is turned off? How dumb is that? At least the orgianl K I T T was always protected no matter what! The Guys over at NBC really did their home work (NOT!) I am sorry i don't see this show lastting when it is added to the line up come this fall.

ALso can some one please tell me when did Micheal Knight ever find the time to have a son? Was it when he was Micheal Long or something? Because I don't see any connection with this one bit.. For one he was always on the road 24/7 365 days a year and the only love he had was with Stevie and that was his one true love. So again when did he have time to make a son with anyone? Oh yeah the voice of K I T T BLAH, sorry but the guy that played K I T T S voice not good at all. But good try NBC, try to rewrite the script make Knight's son more like his dad, change the car but more functions in it and make the car more proof even when the computer is turned off.

Looks Good

I was impressed how well this first episode turned out. Usually when Hollywood attempts a remake it can get ugly. They did a nice job trying to use the old Knight Rider's story to send this one off. However some of the effects were a little cheesy and some of the ideas were a little out there. Yet it is a tv show. About the Ford thing; I was hoping for pontiac again but can't win them all in today's market. But I was impressed with the Mustang. Overall keep an open mind on this one it did just air. Finally to the writer of "The worst remake ever!". The extra spoiler was for down force not speed.
