Knight Hunters: Eternity

Honestly appalled at the direction the story immediately takes, reminds me too much of history class re Nazi Germany, Cold War Russia, McArthyism in the USA ... sorry people, you'll have to watch this series by yourselves.

I liked it short and sweet

Though preferable to hear the original Japanese, the english dub of Weiss Kreuz: Gluhen is pretty darned decent. However, as it's the second in a series of Weiss anime, most viewers will probably not care to watch as they will be thoroughly confused and have no attachment to the characters.Originally the concept for Weiss was florists-by-day/assassins-by-night. It started as a vehicle for four (and later 8 to14) of the top japanese voice actors (at the time 1996-ish). Having done so much anime, four of them had the balls to start their own. Takehito Koyasu (the most prolific japanese voice actor of all time) spearheaded the project and dove into it wholeheartedly with his three friends: Shinichiro Miki, Hiro Yuuki and Tomokazu Seki. With two manga, dozens of audio dramas and music albums, a light novel, an original 26 episode series and an OVA - the Weiss Kreuz fandom grew to be large and international. The japanese voice actors didn't have much money for their awesome anime idea, especially since they couldn't even afford to pay the original manga artist (there was later a lawsuit which forced them to change character deigns to those in this series). So they subbed it out to a cheap studio. The actors didn't care, their voice acting and all the top-notch guest actors wer enough to carry it through! It gained popularity in japan, there were pop concerts, radio events, you name it! Then suddenly... it hit the american anime fangirls underground... and it became a curiosity. What were all the best voice actors doing in a crappy anime?! Then sprang a lively online community.. and from that came addiction!Soon, fangirls across the US would scour the internet for mp3s, scanlations, fan-subs, poorly-translated VCDs from Hong Kong.. anything to get their hands on the series. It seemed that it was extremely popular with 12-30 year old women. There was such an outcry that the (original) series to come to the US on official DVDs that it was eventually picked up by Media Blasters. There was a small hiccup... the name. Weiss Kreuz is german for 'white cross'.... the series creator (and the anime companies) wanted to ensure the title wouldn't be misconstrued by US audiences. They settled on "Knight Hunters", which is decent enough.The series eventually was dubbed with a tongue-in-cheek vibe. And after a two-year fight to get Weiss Kreuz: Gluhen to the US... Media Blasters gave us all a big hug and some decent dubs.... but Media Blasters knew that the majority of fans would not listen to it in english, so perhaps the dub was a little rough. No one cared at the time of release. It's decent, I managed to sit through it fine. With Gluhen in the US - Fangirls are happy, that's all that matters. So... Hulu. Can I have my japanese audio for this?

I can't believe people don't like this! The original Weiss was the first anime I watched, and it was amazing. The story was actually original. Sure it caters a lot to girls (pretty boys), but guys can appreciate the action and plot too. Really it's a great anime.

No Style, Boaring store, Takes way to long before it gets to any story. While i usally try to look for something good to say about a show... i really did not see anything about this show i liked.
