King Of The Hill

I must have missed it. I assume it has to do with Brittany Murphy's death. Which episodes can I watch to catch up on this information?

King of the Hill is my favorite animated television show!

King of the Hill is perhaps my favorite show of all time. It may not be as flashy or outrageous as say Family Guy, but that niche is filled nicely and KOTH does an amazing job within the confines of realism. I've heard people complaining that it is slow and boring, but that's because people are numbed by the surreal world of the Simpsons and Family Guy.

The characters are definitely what makes KOTH so special. They are each so incredibly lovable in there own ways. Peggy's narcissism, the way she says "Peggy Hill." Bill's defeated loyalty. Dale's... paranoia. I love them all and am very sad to see them go, despite its quality slipping towards the end. And I am especially sad that Hulu doesn't carry any of the episodes. I blame Fox . They're so cheap, It's not surprising.

I'm sorry, but KOTH was only funny for the first five or so seasons, while Family constantly delivers. KOTH never tried to reach beyond just being a show about family life in Texas. Family Guy actually tries to experiment and push the envelope. Plying it safe just will not equal ratings and maybe if Mike Judge brought a little of what made Beavis and Butthead so great to KOTH, it might still be on.

King of the Hill had it's moments in the past but about 5 years ago it got to the point where the show was just dry and boring. I lost all intrest in it and stopped watching. Thank God for Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleaveland Show.

I can't believe this boring show was on as long as it was. The DVD sales of the show tanked so much that Fox is no longer making them.

KOTH lost steam years ago. Mike Juged wanted to end it 3 years ago but Fox gave him more money. Besides The Cleaveland show is so much better. KOTH was just boring and dry, I guess the only kind of people that like it are the boring and dry. I hope Seth replaces the Simpsons soon also.
