nice body on the girl, makes the whole movie worth it

this movie was poorly edited with some parts being out of focus when they needed to be and the lighting was not controlled correctly at times. the plot was alright but nothing spectacular...

Poor acting, plot holes and a cheesy love subplot.

I recommend that you at least get half way through before making up your own review, either finish it or bail out. This is a very strange movie, acting is excellent, something like a French Connection without Hackman and any known actor. A lot of action, plot, and sub-titles (in English) for the spoken French in the plot. I may watch it again, it's certainly different than what has been turning me on lately at Hulu. If four letter curse words do not turn you off, then this R Rated film, is a gimmee....watch it.

This movie was interesting. First, I have been seeing many movies with good versus bad characters. Police versus robbers. However, the director or screen writer of this movie focused on the conflict between "bad" characters: bank robbers, a safe cracker, drug addicts, and a call girl. There are some boring scenes between opening scene and the final hour of the movie. But I began to understand why director used "blur" scenes where characters took some serious drugs into their bodies. They had some visual scenes with hallucination images.
The odd part of the story was there was a guard inside the vault. If this is a real scene, how long would a guard spend time inside the vault? He must be bored and be brave to be locked inside the vault. Importantly, he should not have a claustrophobia. How weird...

There is an hour and 1/2 of my life I will never get back. This was a terrible, stupid movie, and a waste of time. The chick was sorta hot, but that doesn't make up for the crappy movie.

Perfect in its misanthropic, copious drug use and idiosyncratic awkward silences and contemplation. People it's a MOVIE!!! suspen and hang up your disbelief this is an alice through the looking glass blur of edginess that guy ritchie and tim burton reach only occasionally. Avary did a beautiful job with this one and it passes the time test (except for the electro musique) and watermark that eric stoltz left on such films as THE Prophesy ...(what horrrbile' shizzle) The metophors are not so much metaphors when you check out and recherche what criminals so desperate would do as final glory stunts and a way to say hey mid finger to societe' Like or hate it, this film is superbe IMHO
