"Kath and Kim," a series adapted from Australia's hit comedy of the same title, is a look into the minutiae of middle-class suburbia that digs deep into the daily lives of mother and daughter, Kath and Kim.
Kath Day (Molly Shannon) is the mom, a foxy, 40-something divorcee who finally has time for herself and her valiant search for love. Kim Day (Blair) is the daughter, a self-absorbed princess recently separated from her husband who finds consolation in stuffing her face. When Kim decides to move back home, Hath reluctantly agrees - but to Kim's chagrin, Kath is not about to cater to her every whim as she has in the past.
Are you serious? I was a fan too, but come on... it was about as profound as the National Enquirer!! The only definite statement this show made was a snap shot of life in Central FL. as a middle-class, average family with everyday ups and downs. The show was entertaining when Kim's whiny attitude was still fresh, and Kath and Phil's relationship was still sweet. This premise really had no where to go... unless one of them predictably won the lottery. I have to say- I'm glad they pulled it before it embarrassed the whole cast and cast a black spot on Shannon and Blair.

I thought this show was excellent if you actually paid attention to what was going on. Just like AD, it was way too clever for the average person sit down for the first time, jump right in and fall in love. It's sad that it was canceled, but like other people have stated, its an American remake...the original still exists. And normally, the original shows are exponentially better than the remakes.

This show is canceled!!! I think Hulu is in the right place for canceled shows! This is where I found Arrested Development...which was canceled before I ever watched it.At least you can watch this show on HULU.ps. didn't mean to sound excited about the cancellation but I was surprised it was still on the air.
