Jyu-Oh-Sei

I really really liked the character development in this story. I wish there was more of the backstory as to the universe that they were in. I did feel the ending was kind of rushed, but the story and characters made up for it. As for the review of were 'men were flirting', women are rare so it would be perfectly 'acceptable' in that kind of situation. Anyway, again, great characters, great plot. I really wish there was more then 11 episodes.

It caught the attention of both my heart & imagination from the very beginning. The only problem was that there were instances when men would flirt which isn't for me. In addition to that the story was great but with so few episodes towards the end it started to feel rushed.

I am very happy i watched this anime. I will never forget it. It definitely encourages me to write my own darn story and have a movie, cartoon or video game based on it. Just when i ithought i have seen it all... this tells me, No you haven't.

A really great mini series about what we'll do as a race to survive.
The characters were extremely likable even at their worst, and if I was left feeling despondent at times this story was so well written that it didn't matter. I even ended up watching the whole series straight through.
There were a couple of spots that I thought could use improvement though. For example, the picture of Thor that they use as a cover was extremely misleading and reminiscent of "Lord of the Flies" in ways. Thor, the main character, actually strived to hold on to his humanity against all odds and I thought it out of character to use such a "photo" when he never looks like that in series. I also thought the ending was a little rushed and could have used a sort of two part finale to tie up some things left unsaid.
Overall I give this series a 9 out of 10 and highly recommend it to others.

Any anime/drama fan will probably enjoy this show.Jay M.'s review pretty much hit the nail on the head, though I'd add that I found it a bit depressing.A little more background and detail about the society on Chimaera and in the Balkan system would have been a nice addition (science nerd stuff), though the show is just as enjoyable without it.

For as short as this anime was, it was completely enjoyable. The plot developed extremely well, as well as the characters. It did a great job of keeping the cast short and simple without adding in a lot of unnecessary elements. There were both predictable and unpredictable twists to come along in this series. Overall, I would have loved for it to continue, but for reasons stated in the series I can understand why (being vague on purpose since I don't wanna give spoilers.) As I said, it progressed well with both characters and story. I won't compare it to FMA, or several other anime shows for that matter because it is so much more shorter than your average anime. Loved the series... scale of "1-10," I give it 8.5-9/10. Would I recommend to others, yes.
