I took my 4 year old to see this in the theater. We were hanging out for the day and driving past a theater and we thought it would be fun to go in and check it out on a lark. I had only heard that veggie tales was a fun kids cartoon made into a movie. I kid you not, I tried to stick it out because I thought she might be enjoying it, but she asked if we could leave about half way through the show. AWFUL. Not funny. Not fun. Not thought provoking. Just preachy and boring.
this is a good movie, great for both kids and adults , but it makes me sad that Big Idea had to sell out to the barbie company becuase theyy made this movie. But I highy recemend it for children and families, the old school veggie tales are the best.
Yes, in today's too serious world, kids really do need all that silliness!!!! Let our kids be kids ( and maybe you too should give over to your kid side for awhile) This is a great movie that my 5 year old watches over and over. Good morals, unusual for today's time, and lots of laughs.
In a field that includes Toy Story and Shrek---this one doesn't quite cut it for overall quality and entertainment for guys not in the 5 and under category. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they have this for the kids to learn morals but do they really need that much silliness?!
