My mom always made us watch british drama on P.B.S. Back when we could only afford one tv. Master piece thetere and such. She would cry to see this. But i think it is so hokey ...

this is a fine example of whats missing in todays TV Entertainment i always say that the best tv shows where in the 80's, and most of the good ones came on during the weekends ...

Great idea, but not for most viewers
I agree that Bruce Campbell is hilarious. I get that this show is in a campy style. But I found it just too stupid to watch. Really, it's just idiotic. Yes, the idiocy is intended, but unless you're ten years old, it's just too dumb. The writers just took the campy "fun" too far to be enjoyable for me, and, I think, most adults. To those who are fans, bless your hearts.

It Doesn't Matter
It doesn't matter what the problems of the show were because most likely it wouldn't have survived no matter what they did.
That said, the large following it has is a testament to how good Jack of All Trades was. This wasn't a primetime show that had to adhere to typical idiot formula, it was a Saturday afternoon show that was designed to entertain. You didn't like it? Who cares? The show is gone and never has to trouble your delicate sensibilities ever again. Was this review helpful?
